Africa Amini Life

After another month living in Momella life has just gotten greener, rainier, and better.  We spent our time between cleaning and re-organizing the library, teaching at the Maasai Vision School in neighboring Ngabobo, and preparing the teachers through seminars on how to change the way they teach to a more dynamic method.

Initiating a reading program in Maasai Vision.

The typical after school touch Eva time.

Literally, the only way to go.

I only buy my bananas by the branch load.

What happened to the animals?

Life in Momella

After coming down from Mt. Meru we made the arduous 1km journey to the Africa Amini Alama Healing Center to volunteer for the next 3 months.  Eva and I will be working as teachers in two of their schools.  The Worseg Vision School located in Momella right near the Arusha National Park and the Masaai Vision School located in the dusty middle of nowhere.

Dropping the kids of for school.

My hands up, my hands down, this I want to do.
