Tourist Austria

What better time to go to the most tourist parts of Austria than when the country has all borders locked so no tourists can come in? From the end of the lock down at the beginning of May, we snuck in a bit of touristy things to see before they went crazy. First stop Hallstatt.

Hallstatt's central plaza

We got the instagram famous point all by ourselves. Quite a nice view :-)

Hiking up to the salt mines above the city. The salt in Hallstatt has attracted humans for thousands of years.

A quick ritzy cafe in Altausee

A little family hiking trip in Dürnstein

Snake number one

A Jausenpause

Snake number 2

Cafe Central. A selfie outside was necessary as I had never seen it without a line.

I don't feel all that philosophical

Sailing on the Old Danube with a view on the UN

Crazy weather complete. No wind to all the wind in two hours.

Murder mystery time!

A Blindschleiche, a legless lizard :-)

Clearly I was the murderer this time.
