Cambodia

Cambodia is a country that has a painful history.  During our visit to the national capital Phnom Penh we went to the Killing Fields and the Torture Prison S21.  Both were incredibly difficult places as the darkest aspects of human history were present in these places.  I didn't take many pictures of those places, but made up for it with en endless number of pictures from Angkor Wat.  Please enjoy!

Sunrise over Angkor Wat.

The many faces of Bayon.

Getting in a little Muay Thai.

Thailand

We have a summer vacation from school.  We packed our little backpacks and headed to Southeast Asia for 5 weeks.  First stop: Thailand.

The Grand Palace in Bangkok.

A special day for Na, his first floating market. Boy was he excited.

During the week we took a short flight to the northern city of Chiang Mai to explore the country a little bit on the back of a motor bike and see the elephants.
