From Cambodia we crossed over the border with Vietnam by river. The Mekong river runs from the high mountains in Burma, through China, Laos, Thailand, Cambodia until it reaches the South China Sea in Southern Vietnam. People have been cultivating the rich soils of the Mekong Delta for a very long time and many people still have a rural existence depending primarily on the rice seasons.

After the Mekong we made our way to Ho Chi Mihn City (formerly Saigon). With all the rain we didn't take many pictures of the city, but we did enjoy its many coffee houses.
