This year for 18 we went to our friends Raf's family place in El Monte to celebrate the Chilean Independence Day.  We had Antichucos, home-made Empanadas, and Chicha.  At night we went to the Fonda in Talagante to celebrate, drink Terremotos, and dance!

On the Cusp of Summer

In May, Eva and I went back to the US for Eric and Megan's wedding.  We spent some time cruising around the Midwest.  We made stops in Cedar Rapids, The Quad Cities, Madison, Chicago, Galena, and Des Moines.

The final destination on my never ending summer was Madrid.  We took a long layover in the city to visit our friend Jessie and see the Spanish capital.
