The Silver State

We continued west to "The Biggest Little City in the World" which may in fact be true. I literally bumped into people I knew despite never having lived in Reno. We stayed with my good friend Pat and he showed us the beautiful (riverfront and Tahoe), the unique (Genoa Saloon and Shepard's cafe), and the dirty (methheads and Shooters). Californians are wrong, Reno rocks. After we had a blast in Reno we took the Amtrak train to Denver to see the amazing scenery.

Look at Pat's grilling skills!

Tahoe was popular that day.

Well at least my boy got the cup.

Above Yosemite Valley

After visiting for a healthy time in the Bay-Area we moved on away from the coast inland to Yosemite National Park. Of course we wanted to go trekking and we did for 5 nights and 4 days in, around, and above the valley.

The clean before the storm.

Her eyes were watching God.

Found it!

It's still there, just down there now.

That's a bear! It's the best shot I could get though.

On top of El Cap.

Coming down on the last day with a boyish swagger.

An end of the road reward.

We showered in the river.

Are you going to San Francisco?

From Guam we made it to California to start our road trip across the states. We spent several days living of the love of Janet and Bobito with our friends Matt and Loreto. We got to see lots of cool people, lots of cool places, and drink lots of cool drinks.

On top of San Fran at the Twins.

Walking around Mission Hill.

Alcatraz.

Matt couldn't really take a day off.

Trying to get these n00bs to do their job.

Good job Matt, you earned yourself some ceviche.

Guess I did too!

Aforementioned Peruvian food.

Wine tasting in Sonoma.

Being basic as hell.
