After the Wild Coast we continued along the Indian to Port Elizabeth and then into the Garden Route to Plettenberg Bay. On my personal bucket list was to bungee jump. When I studied in Durban I heard of a bungee in South Africa that is the world's highest commercial jump. To finish off a great trip through Africa, I chose to do it. The jump from Bloukrans Bridge is 216 meters but the free fall lasts a matter of seconds. Unfortunately I don't have any pictures of me actually jumping since the company wanted an arm and a leg to get those pics.

From Plettenberg we headed north into a part of RSA called the Karoo. The Karoo is mountainous and dry. By the time Eva and I had hit the tourist trail in South Africa, we left it. The main economy of the area is sheep and wool. We spent the night in Nieu-Bethesda.
