Parc national de l'Isalo

The crown jewel of Southern Madagascar is Isalo.  The park is dry and full of limestone towers carved out by the rain and wind.  As well, a few rivers run through the partched land, creating natural oasis and pools.  The park is also home to many lemurs, chameleons, reptiles, and insects.  We spent a day hiking through some of the easier trails before it got to boiling hot temperatures.
